Warning – Do not use chain for overhead lifting and never exceed the working load limit.

Proof Coil

Proof Coil – GR. 30

Grade 30 Chain is an excellent general-purpose utility chain with a zinc finish. It is recommended
for applications that do not require high strength to weight ratios.

USES: It is often used on farms, in industry and at home for many general purpose applications
such as pulling stumps, lashing cargo, truck tailgates, moorings and guard rails.

Proof Coil – Galvanized - GR. 30

Galvanized Grade 30 Chain is an excellent general-purpose utility chain that has been hot dipped
galvanized for extra corrosion resistance. This chain is used in applications that do not require high
strength to weight ratios.

USES: It is often used on farms, in industry and at home for many general purpose applications
such as pulling stumps, lashing cargo, truck tailgates, moorings, tow chains and guard rails.

Proof Coil – GR. 43

Grade 43 Chain provides higher tensile strength and greater resistance to wear than Grade 30 utility
chain.

USES: This grade is a better choice for heavy-duty trucking and more demanding construction activities.

Proof Coil – Galvanized - GR. 70

Grade 70 Chain has the best strength to weight ratio because of its exceptional hardness which gives
superior wear resistance.

USES: Used primarily by the trucking industry for load binding this chain is lightweight for its strength
and, therefore, easy to handle. This chain is used extensively on farms, in logging and construction.

Proof Coil – Stainless Steel

For performance in corrosive, marine or outdoor environments, Stainless Steel Chain is the product of
choice. This electronically welded chain is made with type 304 stainless steel.

USES: It is perfectly suited for marine applications and will give years of reliable service in the harshest
environments.

Machine Chain

Machine Chain is a low carbon steel, electronically welded chain that is not heat-treated.

Straight Link Machine Chain- has shorter links that make it very flexible. Standard finishes are nickel-plated
and zinc-plated.

USES: This type of chain is particularly well suited for agricultural applications, tailgate chains, overhead
door chain and playground equipment.

Twist Link Machine Chain- a twist in each link allows the chains to lay flat. Standard finishes are nickel-plated,
zinc-plated and polished.

USES: Used particularly as pet chain.

Passing Link Chain

Passing Link Chain is a general purpose utility chain with a wide link design that allows the links to pass one another
easily reducing the chance of tangling and kinking. This non heat-treated chain is made of low carbon steel
and is electronically welded.

USES: Typically used for farm and livestock applications.

Straight Link Chain

Straight Link Coil Chain is low carbon steel, welded chain that is easily identified by its link design. The link is
long and relatively narrow in proportion.

USES: Used for many general applications such as on tailgates, trailer safety and barrier chain.

Tenso Chain

Tenso Chain, also known as double loop or knotted chain, is made from low carbon steel, is not heat treated
and has a standard zinc plated finish.

USES: This type of chain is frequently used on playground and gym equipment, as cow ties on farms, in kennels,
and for for many general applications such as on gates, doors, porch swings and tie out chains. PVC coated
Tenso chain, in red or yellow, is used in applications where added weather resistance is needed.

Jack Chain

Jack Chain is unique in that each link features two eyes 90° out of plane to each other. Jack Chain is not heat-treated,
is made with low carbon steel, has a bright finish and is also available brass plated.

USES: Used for hanging fixtures such as florescent lights, children’s toys and general utility applications where
high strength is not required.

Safety Chain

Safety Chain, also known as plumber’s chain, is specifically designed for use with plumbing fixtures. It is a stamped,
flat link pattern chain that is particularly well suited for traveling over pulleys. Safety chain is made from low carbon steel
and is not heat-treated.

USES: Specifically designed for use with plumbing fixtures.

Sash Chain

Sash Chain is a stamped flat linked chain that runs very smoothly over pulleys. The chain is made from low carbon
steel and is not heat-treated.

USES: Most frequently used as a counterbalance chain for double hung windows as well as for arc lamps and pet
chains.
Decorative Chain

Available in an assortment of styles and finishes these popular lightweight chains are sure to complement any décor.

USES: Designed for use with hanging light fixtures and planters and for tying back drapes.

Bead Chain

Available in solid brass or chrome plated solid brass, this non-weight bearing chain must be used with couplings
and/or clips.

USES: Bead Chain is commonly used in sinks and tubs with rubber drain stoppers or as pull cord for ceiling fans and
light fixtures.

Plastic Chain

Available in black and white, this maintenance free and weather resistant chain is perfect for interior and exterior applications.

USES: Common uses include controlling and directing crowds and line-ups, protecting landscaping, identifying dangerous
areas and hanging light plants or other objects for decorative purpose.
